Wrestling has historically thrived in the margins, both in terms of physical practice locations and American sports' greater ecosystem.

In photographing “Wrestling Rooms of the United States”, I hope to tell the sport's coming-of-age story as it outgrows the basements, attics, spare rooms, and marginal spaces that it came up in.
